With God all things, in all the way
Festival time has come. From August to almost December.. and till January, every month there is a festival for Indians. Every festival has something special. Why are so many gods have only in Hindu tradition? Each God has a different method of worship. Why is there a rule that is God worshipped be a ship would like this? This is the question that many people are facing…
In fact, now where in any sastra.. has it been not said that any God should be worshipped like this.. he said if you worship me whole heartedly, always honestly and do you work.. that is true worship. This puja should be done like this.. it is only to increase a discipline for us.
Even if the festival is for one day, a lot of preparations is done for it. First of all, the house is cleaned, new clothes and sweets are prepared. On the day before the festival, we buy the materials needed for the puja. On the day of festival, we get up early in the morning, take a bath, cook, do the puja, decorations, on certain way. To be able to do so many things as well, it required a lot of discipline. God teaches us as responsibility, not fear.
Nowhere is the rule that one should not eat anything without complete Puja. It is said that don’t eat everything. You can take fruits, liquids also eat buttermilk, dry fruits like this only.. and women who have fasted during the pooja, when they are pregnant, no rule apply them. And children are also made to sit in the pooja after their feed. Because it is said that children have the image of God, which means that god is present in the every pure heart.
Why are so many gods? It is said that there is only one God. But the work done by different forms in only in one face. There is no difference between male and female. On the day of Vinayaka chavithi, we worship by Ganesha. We worship goddess Durga and the day of Navratri. Why should we do Pooja for so long? Why should we chance so many Mantra that we don’t understand? All these is not for God while reading Mantra our mind should not be on God.
Whatever work we put our mind to satisfaction and complete that work only.. prasadam should not be left out. Because the rule is that food should not be wasted. Moreover in temple, prasadam was given there as much as you asked. Even if you put a little, you will eat it with satisfaction. That is why it taste is good.
Why would God be the one who does does evil? If we bow to God with both hands, it means that he is greater than us.. if we do not worship, it does not mean that god will punish us. The problems we face or only caused by the mistakes we make.
