The true meaning of romance

The word romance holds a unique significance. Many people think romance means sex, but that is completely wrong. Sex is a physical relationship. But romance is more powerful than sex. If two partners ever feel, need to apologize to each other, a simple Hug is enough. What would you call that hug ..

As for me I would call it romance.

Romance is present in every form of love. We may not be able to have sex with every person we love, but we can always share romance sitting together and enjoy a coffee when you are happy. That is called romance.

Expressing through your eyes, silently connecting with someone.. that is romance.

Romance in something we share only with the one who we truly love.

When your life partner is facing a problem.. offering them a little encouragement,

Or setting a side all your work, to spend time with them when they are unwell..

If these acts are called love we can also be called romance.

Now if we ask whether sex and liking are connected, my answer is simple..

Would you say who people earn money by having sex or doing it out of liking? Sex between husband and wife might happen out of mutual liking, but not all husband and wife are romantic couple. However I can say this with certainty…

Not every sexual act is romantic, not every romantic connection leads to sex.

I believe every way of expressing love can be called romance. And another thing, thinking that romance is limited to couple is misconception.

Massaging your mothers or father’s feet is romance,

Applying nail polish for his daughter is romance

And even when no one appreciate your hairstyle but you admire yourself first day true to your promises that too is romance.

In essence, you can have romance with yourself as well.
