Yes…my typical morning routine started on June 5th. Why is it it is the morning routine? 2 months later, that is after summer holidays.. the schools are started again. Sending children to school after 2 months is a big task for mothers. This is something that only mothers can understand. Children don’t want to go back to school so quickly after 2 months of holidays. “When I go there, I have to study.. when I come home I have to do my homework.. I can’t play in my little time.. the most important thing is I can’t watch TV anymore”sach various thoughts should be sent out slowly and the thought of going to school should be sent in his mind.

After such a big task, the moment come when school was about to start. The first of insending done to school is to wake up the children early in the morning. Because school timing have changed a lot in this year. School start at 8:15 in the morning. That means the school bus comes at 7:30 in the morning. As a part of this, my son had to wake up at 6:30. Due to some traffic problems school is starting a little early.

In fact, what is the bigger task than baking up the kids early in the morning, is getting the kids to sleep early before night. If the sleep early at night, they will not bother to get up early in the morning. If they get 8 to 9 hours of happy sleep, they mind will be fresh and their crankiness will be reducing. The first day I found this work a bit difficult. From the next day my son also got used to this work. Because and studies in school make them physically tired. It will automatically sleep early at night. It takes sometime to suddenly change the routine of 2 months, we should wait a little patiently without causing too much trouble.

When comes to my morning routine, I wake up past 5 in the morning. As the school starts a bit early, we have to prepare the breakfast, lunch for my son at same time. I have to get up at half past five, and finish all my chores as well as cooking preparation. Everything will be completed by the time the bus arrives at 7:30. My morning routine starts at any time with hot water and honey with soaked almonds along with them. This to give me the energy to do all my work.

As a part of cooking preparation, idli and dosa are very common in South Indian breakfast. Since it’s summer season there also fruit juices. When it comes to lunch, non veg is the not allowed in the school (including eggs) so rice is a accompanied by dal or sambar with vegetable curry and curd rice is must. There is no set menu for the day, each day is different.

After my son goes to school, I walk 15 minutes and come home. I drink some tea, take bath, and do Puja.(praying God) Doing Pooja for 10 minutes a day gives my mind some peace. And then taking my breakfast. and then there are small tasks like cleaning my house and washing clothes etc. There is nothing much to do in the kitchen.

I give more time in the morning to writing. I think this is a good time to calm down my blog writing.

This is morning routine is an example of her school teachers discipline not only to children but also to adults. As mention earlier my morning routine is somewhat typical but well planned and disciplined.
